We felt there was a need for a unique sporting event that catered to the emerging breed of hybrid athletes.  An event filled with adventure, fun, grit, and craziness.  When’s the last time you scrambled up a mountain, sprinted through a 400 meter obstacle course and finished it off by throwing an empty keg, flipping a tractor tire and testing your skills at an Archery Range? This is going to be different than anything you’ve ever seen or done before. You will sweat, cry and laugh all in the same day...

There is always risk involved when participants in events of this magnitude. We have taken every step possible to ensure the safety of participants and spectators at the Hybrid Adventure Games. We will have medical personal and an ambulance on site in case of an emergency. Play hard, but play at your own risk.

Absolutely, our event was designed to be approachable by participants of all shapes, sizes, and athletic abilities. However, do not mistake approachable with easy. You will be challenged. It will be uncomfortable. Your mental toughness is more important than your physical conditioning at the Hybrid Adventure Games. This event is more about having fun, challenging your own personal limits, and trying something new.

Absolutely, the Adventure Run is only 1/5 of your overall score. Even if you decide to walk the entire adventure run you will still score 500 points and there will be plenty of other opportunities to score points in the other 4 events. Being a runner helps, but certainly isn’t everything.

That’s where the “Hybrid” part comes into play...We designed this event with everyone in mind. For those who want to come out, have fun and enjoy the people, vibe, and overall experience, they will find it here. For those who want to push their limits and unleash their competitive side, they will find themselves pitted against some of the strongest athletes in the region. It’s up to you..But the main goal is to raise money for charity and make a difference in our community.  But who says we can't have fun while doing it.

A runner, a warrior, a stunt person, an explorer, a character.  It takes more than good genetics and the ability to run fast to be a Hybrid Athlete. You need to display toughness, spirit, comaraderie, strategy and most importantly, the ability to have fun. Expensive gear, fancy spandex, and big ego’s?  Leave them at home...They are worthless at the Hybrid Adventure Games.

You won’t be alone! In fact, most people won’t be able to finish all the disciplines.  Just give it your best shot and have fun while doing it.

Absolutely! The crazier the better, and there may even be some extra spirit points in it for your effort.

Water, snacks, and maybe even an ice cold beer (venue depending) will be available along the course for your aid. Oh yeah, and of course plenty of cowbells, cheering, and encouragement.

Absolutely...There will be food and beverage vendors all along the event site.

We recommend picking up your Event Packet at the Packet Pick-Up Party the Friday before the event. You can also pick your packet at the event site one hour before your start time. Your packet includes race bib, chip timer, t-shirt, cool swag, and anything else we decide to throw in there.

No, unfortunately you must be present with ID to pick up your  event packet. Your friend will have to tag along or pick it up the day of the event.

A towel, change of clothes, and whatever else you need to prepare yourself for the Post Party Awards Celebration. Oh yeah, not a bad idea to bring a garbage bag for your dirty clothes on the ride home.

30 minutes following the end of your heat (for example; if you are in the 9am start time your heat will end at 12:00 noon and the awards ceremony will begin at 12:30pm)

We understand things come up last minute so yes, your registration can be transferred to a friend. All they need to do is email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) no later than (7) day prior to the event. They will need to include proof of your registration confirmation and will need to include all updated information. They will need to complete their own participant information sheets and waivers when they check in. They may not switch start times or transfer dates.

Pretty sure that went out with mix tapes and vcr's.  All registration must be competed online through our website.

Unfortunately you can not get a refund for your event registration. You can however use your registration to attend any future H.A.G. events (as long as registration for that city is still open)

For safety reasons, all participants must be over 18 to participate in the Hybrid Adventure Games. But that doesn’t mean they can’t start training now

No, we know how hard it is to collect money from friends so we made it easy on you.  Each team member will need to register and pay individually.

It’s the total points of everyone on your team. The more people you have on your team, the better shot you have at winning. More people...More points...

Yes we understand that some teams will be carrying dead weight so you won’t punish you for it...Your individual points will apply towards the individual rankings.

No, your teammates can participate in different heats. Team results will be tabulated and announced at closing ceremonies Saturday afternoon.
